About the teachers:

Sheikh Abu Aliyah

Sheikh Abu Aliyah is the Director of the Institute, and has undertaken his Islamic studies with a number of scholars including Sheikh Abdullah Al-Farsi, Sheikh Abd al-Rahman al-Luwayhiq, and many others. He has taught and lectured on Islam for two decades, and serves as an imam at a mosque in East London, as well as undertaking pastoral work in the community.

Ustadah Uzma Jung

Ustadah Uzma Jung is wife of Sheikh Abu Aliyah. A mother of 3, she has been active in the community delivering circles and talks on Islam for the last 20 years. She has been a pre-school teacher and has set up many Home Schooling initiatives. She is a Scouts Leader with the National Scouts Association and a qualified NLTP practioner.
